Bidvest Noonan to Chair Global Initiative on Tall Building Security

Bidvest Noonan has partnered with The Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM) to launch a Special Interest Group dedicated to supporting the global tall-building sector. With a strong track record of securing high-profile tall buildings, Bidvest Noonan will chair this initiative.

The Special Interest Group will focus on identifying and understanding threats while developing insights and solutions to address the challenges the sector faces. The group will bring key stakeholders together, including service providers, property managers, blue light networks and others, to advance knowledge, share insights, and establish frameworks that contribute to a safer, more resilient built environment.

Dr David Rubens, Executive Director at the ISRM, said: “The pace of change in today’s world is accelerating, creating new risks that cannot be tackled in isolation. This Special Interest Group provides an essential platform for bringing together expertise from across the industry to help organisations anticipate and navigate emerging threats. Bidvest Noonan Joins the Accelerate Pact to Tackle Climate and Nature Crises

Bidvest Noonan has announced it has signed up to ‘Accelerate’, the Business Pact for Climate and Nature. The company, a long-standing member of Business in the Community, is one of the first signatories of this forward-thinking initiative launched by Business in the Community in Ireland (BITCI). The pact aims to drive urgent and collective action to address the challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss.

By signing the pact, Bidvest Noonan has committed to setting a Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) approved net-zero target by 2050, with a goal to establish this by 2030 or earlier. Additionally, the company will develop and implement a comprehensive Climate Transition Plan to align its operations with a 1.5°C and nature-positive future.

Our business has consistently prioritised sustainability across its operations. Signing the Accelerate Pact reinforces the company’s commitment to innovative, environmentally responsible practices that benefit its clients and the communities it serves.

Under the pact, signatories are required to integrate ambitious actions into their Climate Transition Plans, focusing on nine key areas: Nature, Scope 3 emissions, Just Transition, Decarbonisation, Targets, Finance, Advocacy, Risk, and Governance. The Accelerate Pact builds on the success of BITCI’s Low Carbon Pledge, which concluded this year.

Bidvest Noonan Launches TwinSpace, its Digital Twin Solution

Bidvest Noonan has launched TwinSpace, its new digital twin technology solution. TwinSpace provides our clients with 3D virtual replicas of their facilities to improve training, project management, occupancy planning, and more.

TwinSpace is gaining fast traction, particularly in sectors where training and space utilisation are critical. Its accurate 3D models of facilities allow our teams to complete site-specific training remotely. New team members can familiarise themselves with the facility before arriving on-site, ensuring they are well-prepared from day one.

TwinSpace captures precise spatial data to create highly accurate floor plans. These schematic plans include precise measurements and define floor areas within buildings. This level of detail enables our teams to plan for work schedules, space management, and optimising resource allocation more effectively.

Our TwinSpace technicians can create virtual models for clients within hours, using unobtrusive, lightweight technologies. The models offer an intuitive, user-friendly experience and require minimal onboarding.

Whether visualising a room layout or navigating an entire building, TwinSpace simplifies space analysis and decision-making, providing a realistic view without the need for on-site visits. Embedded resources such as PDFs and videos provide detailed instructions and insights for tenants, maintenance teams, and facility managers, improving overall operational efficiency.

Great success for Bidvest Noonan at the IWFM Impact Awards

Bidvest Noonan celebrated an amazing evening at the IWFM Impact Awards, the most prestigious event in the UK’s FM industry. Held at the luxurious Grosvenor House, the event saw all of the industry’s leading players vie for top honours.

In front of an audience of over 900 people, Bidvest Noonan was recognised for three incredible achievements:

  • We won the Product and Service Development Award for Dynamic Workplace. Huge congratulations to Peter Smyth.
  • We also took home the Frontline Heroes Award for our exceptional work at Kings Cross. A massive well done to Liz Cummins, Raj Pradhan, Ali Hussain, and everyone involved.
  • We were also Highly Commended for Team of the Year for our outstanding team at St. Vincent’s. 

With 95 finalists, this recognition highlights the dedication and impact of our teams.

Bidvest Noonan celebrate multiple key wins at the ICCA Awards 2024

Bidvest Noonan celebrated great success at the 2024 ICCA Awards, with wins in several key categories.

The highlight of the evening came when our team at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre was crowned Overall Best Cleaned Site in the entire competition, the biggest prize of the event! A huge congratulations to Nick O’Connor, Louise Ryan, and the entire team. Liffey Valley also took home the award for Best Cleaned Retail Premises.

A massive well done to our team at the University of Galway (NUIG), who won Best Cleaned Site in the Education Sector. Congratulations to Lorraine Monaghan, Dzmitry Simanovich, Nerijus Gudaitis, and the whole team.

We also had tremendous individual success, with our colleagues winning several awards in their respective categories:
