ED&I at Bidvest Noonan

Empowering people to bring their best selves to work every day

Our commitment to ED&I

For nearly 50 years, Bidvest Noonan has nurtured a culture of inclusion, fairness, and respect. When people feel they truly belong and their voices are heard, they thrive, and so does our business. This inclusive culture is a key reason talented professionals choose to join us and build their careers here, and it’s why so many of our colleagues stay with us year after year. We encourage everyone on our team to bring their whole selves to work each day, knowing that diversity of thought and background makes us stronger.

Our ED&I Strategy & Leadership

We are building a workplace where inclusion is at the heart of everything we do, where diversity is celebrated, and where every voice is heard. Our commitment to ED&I is shaped and led by our ED&I Council, a cross-functional team of senior leaders from across our business. The council sets our strategic direction, champions progress, and ensures that ED&I is consistently embedded in all aspects of our organisation. Guided by the council, we are working to create:

  • Enabling Experiences: We will build an inclusive employee experience for all colleagues.
  • Belonging: We will create an inclusive culture by embracing diverse perspectives to embed a sense of belonging based on mutual respect and trust.
  • Inclusive Society: We will champion an inclusive society, inspiring our customers and communities to lead the way towards a future where no one is left behind.

Living Our Commitment

These commitments shape our actions and inform the way we support our people, work with our clients, and engage with the wider world. The ED&I Council meets regularly to assess our progress, launch new initiatives, and ensure inclusion is a lived value throughout our business.

We know that leadership is essential, but inclusion is everyone’s responsibility. Together, we are creating a culture where all colleagues can thrive and where difference is not just welcomed, but valued.

Colleague-Led Communities & Local Initiatives

Across our business, colleagues are leading the way by creating and participating in communities that celebrate difference and drive positive change. Our colleague-led groups focus on key aspects of ED&I, and are supported by senior sponsors to amplify their impact and visibility.

In addition to these communities, our local teams in the UK and Ireland take ownership of ED&I at site level, delivering initiatives that reflect the unique needs and strengths of their teams and communities. From marking cultural celebrations and raising awareness on key dates, to supporting local charities and running workshops, our people are making inclusion real and relevant, wherever they are.

This combination of strong leadership and grassroots energy ensures that inclusion is embedded in the way we support our people, serve our clients, and contribute to society.
