Our 2025/26 Sustainability Report highlights the positive impact we are making for people, communities, customers and the environment.
In our latest report, our emissions reduction targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), reinforcing our commitment to achieving a 42% reduction in emissions by 2030 and Net Zero by 2045. We increased our use of renewable electricity to 72%, ensured 97% of new company cars were zero or low-emission vehicles, and continued to develop innovative solutions that help customers reduce waste, energy consumption and environmental impact.
We strengthened our social impact through industry-leading employability programmes, support for diverse communities, and initiatives that help our 27,000 colleagues learn, connect and thrive. Our colleague engagement score reached a best-in-class 80.4%, while partnerships with charities and community organisations continued to create positive change across the UK and Ireland.
With EcoVadis recognition as a Leader in Carbon Management, a Silver sustainability rating, and progress across our Workplace, Community, Environment and Marketplace pillars, this report showcases how we are building a stronger, more sustainable future.
