Cleaning an iconic and world-renowned museum

April 22, 2020 by Site Manager

One of London’s most iconic attractions, our client’s site is visited by over 3 million people every year. It is a world-renowned museum that houses some of the world’s most famous artefacts. With multiple floors, each unique in their way, it is a dynamic and challenging environment.

Our client required a flexible and bespoke to meet challenges which included increased footfall at weekends and public holidays, restricted timeframes and events, and conferences taking place throughout the year.

The scope of our solution includes cleaning, portering, grounds maintenance, waste management, and the provision of washroom consumables. We have a large team of highly trained operatives working shifts that meet the activity peaks.

We use leading-edge technologies and management practices to ensure an excellent service is delivered. We work to look after our people and get the basics right. This approach and the high levels of employee engagement we have achieved have delivered results. Our client’s site is always in pristine condition. Our team members perform as ambassadors for our client and our productivity and staff retention rates are excellent.

Disinfecting a pharmaceutical site in less than 4 hours

April 16, 2020 by Site Manager

In March 2020, we received a call from a pharmaceutical site in Wicklow. Our client had experienced a suspected case of COVID-19. The site, which has an area of over 40 thousand square feet, had been evacuated. Our client needed us to disinfect the site and return it for use as quickly as possible.

Our industrial division quickly deployed a highly trained disinfection team and developed a plan which would enable us to return areas for use in line with our client’s business requirements.

The team used EcoStatic technology to speed up the application of the disinfectant solution. This technology allowed the team to work up to 5 times faster than is possible with conventional sprayers. The team applied powerful disinfectants that are non-irritant, non-toxic, non-corrosive, which means they would not have a harmful effect on our client’s people. The disinfectant remains active on surfaces for up to 28 days, providing the site with additional protections.

We returned an area of over 14,000ft2 to our client every 1.25 hours. We returned the entire site for use in less than 4 hours.
